The most amazing architect of our time, Jean Nouvel, was awarded the Prtizker Prize, the world's most prestigious architecture award. His work is legendary, most recently his design for "The Tower" at 53rd Street in Manhattan, and his use of unconventional details such as plants and LED lights are not only progressive, but beautiful. The good folks at Gizmodo were kind enough to give us a gallery tribute here. Congrats Jean Nouvel!!!
This is an ad for a seal to certify Germany’s organic farm produce. "I'm Walking" features six animated chickens in a fairly brutal high-hurdle showdown. Written and produced by Bodo von Braunmuehl and animated by Soulcage Department Studio, I'm still not sure I got it, but the take on Chicken Little animation was pretty niiiiiccceeee.......click on the video to see it on revver.com.......

This is from a new Bent Stiller movie coming out called "Tropic Thunder" and Rob plays "Kirk Lazurus, a very serious Oscar winning actor cast in the most expensive Vietnam war film ever. Problem is, Lazurus's character, Sgt. Osiris, was originally written as black. So Lazurus decides to dye his skin and play Osiris, um, authentically." Man Rob, your going out on a limb with this one, hope its funny, cuz if not, they'll be hell to pay.......but what's that when you've beaten a drug addiction 12 times!! With over 1 billion people unable to access safe drinking water across the globe, a person has to wonder, what's next? Well, new product Lifestraw has an answer. Invented by Mikkel Vestergaard Fradsen, Lifestraw is a portable water purification tool that can be worn around the neck. It can filter up to 700 liters of water, effectively removing most of the micro organisms responsible for causing waterborne diseases. At $2 a pop (individually), this could be the biggest idea of 2008. Maybe ever....nice work Lifestraw.
